Franklin Templeton Shootout Odds

Golf is usually an individual sport, but the PGA Tour will take on a different feel as the Franklin Templeton Shootout gets underway in Naples, Florida this weekend. The event features 12 pairs of golfers vying for the right to be named champion and is a three-day, 54-hole stroke play format.

At Sportsbook, Jason Dufner/Brandt Snedeker and Harris English/Matt Kuchar are +400 favorites. Smylie Kaufman/Justin Thomas (+500), Kevin Chappell/Kevin Kisner (+600) and Charley Hoffman/Billy Horschel (+800) round out the top five.

Dufner and Snedeker will be looking to repeat after garnering the title last year. The duo combined to post an aggregate score of 30 under, edging out English and Kuchar, who finished at -28.

The first round is a scramble, the second is modified alternate shot and the final round is better ball.

The Franklin Templeton Shootout is the last tournament played before the Tour’s December break. Action will resume in the new year when the Tournament of Champions kicks off on January 5.
