Masters Betting Preview
The 2010 Masters is bigger this year than in recent years since Tiger Woods is making his season debut after a tough couple of months for him to say the least.
Tiger has not teed it up this season and he still has the best odds to win another Green Jacket, as has him at +350. It will be not only interesting to see if he is rusty or is still THE golfer in the field to beat, but also how the gallery will react to him. Many are thinking he may not be able to handle the pressure, but it is Tiger Woods and anytime he is at Augusta he has a good chance to win.

Phil Mickelson has the second best odds at +900 at . Lefty has two Green Jackets and even though he does not have a win on the PGA this season he has made the cut in all seven tournaments he has played in.
has Ernie Els at +1000 and he is simply on fire winning two tournaments this year and he leads the money list. The Big Easy has made the cut in the eight PGA tournaments he has played in and has four top 10’s. He ranks third on tour in birdies and he has the distance, but can he win his first Green Jacket this year?
Padraig Harrington is at +1500 at and he is playing well lately and, at time of writing, leads the Shell Houston Open, which has a great field. He has two top 10’s in seven tournaments played, but can he win the Masters with his putting? He ranks 102nd on tour in putts per hole and only 127th in birdies per round.
has Steve Stricker at +2000 and that may be a good value bet. He had his best finish (sixth) at last year’s Masters and he has one win and four top 10’s in the seven tournaments he has played in this season. He is the number two ranked golfer in the world, but he is not the longest hitter only ranking 105th on tour in driving distance.
Camilo Villegas is at +2500 at and the Argentinean has played great this season. He has only played in five PGA events and has three top 10’s and a win. He has the all around game that you need to have at the Masters, as he ranks seventh on tour in birdies per round and fourth in driving distance.
Even though Angel Cabrera won the Masters last year he is posted as a long shot at +6000 at . Even though he only has one top 10 finish in the seven tournaments he has played he ranks second on tour in driving distance and he is a decent putter.
