Home teams all underdogs in NFL Wild Card odds
It has never happened before and it offers a great chance to beat the NFL odds this weekend – all four Wild Card road teams are favored.
The question now is whether those odds will become more favorable as the week goes along. Should you place your Wild Card bets now or wait for the lines to move?
Savvy bettors know that the public moves the point spread, depending on how much betting action is on one team. There are games that are better to bet early and ones where it is better to bet late. Knowing when to bet is as important as whom to bet on.
NFL Wild Card odds - Indianapolis -1 at San Diego O/U 51
The Colts are, by far, the hottest team in the league, as they have won nine straight games. These two teams have already played this season and the Colts won that game 23-20 in San Diego.
Peyton Manning and the Colts’ offense are firing on all cylinders and their defense has played well in the second half of the season. The Chargers have a legit offense, but their defense is ranked 25th and they have the second worst pass defense in the league.
That is not good facing a Colts team that is averaging 255 yards per game through the air. Manning may shred the Chargers’ secondary and since they already beat the Chargers in San Diego the line may go up, so if you want to bet on the Colts take the line now.

NFL Wild Card odds - Atlanta -2 at Arizona O/U 51
Atlanta at Arizona and the Over/Under is only 51 points? Are you kidding me? The Falcons have the league’s sixth-ranked offense and the Cardinals have the fourth-ranked offense. On defense the Falcons only rank 24th and the Cardinals rank 19th. Both these teams can score 51 points themselves.
The punters in this game may not see a lot of action and if you want to take the Over, which I would jump on in a second, take the line now, as it may go up.
Wild card matchup reports give you a great handicapping edge.
NFL Wild Card odds - Baltimore -3 at Miami O/U 37.5
The Ravens are 3-point favorites over the Dolphins and that may be a generous line. Sure, the Dolphins won the AFC East, but they already lost to the Ravens at home 27-13 earlier this year. Besides the Ravens the Dolphins only faced one other team this season that has a defense ranked in the top 10 and that was the Patriots, who rank 10th.
The Dolphins only have the league’s 15th ranked defense and Ravens rank second. In their first meeting the Ravens won by two touchdowns and their offense is playing better now. If you want to bet on the Ravens you should take the line now, as it may go up.

NFL Wild Card odds - Philadelphia -3 at Minnesota O/U 41.5
The Eagles started getting healthy more than a month ago and aside from the 10-3 Redskin stinker have played pretty well. Can they beat Minnesota, a team with a solid defense, a stellar RB and a strange QB situation?
They sure can. Could they also lose by 35 points? They sure can. Philly has the better team on paper and rides two key trend into Minny (10-4 ATS past 14 on road and 9-1 ATS past 10 vs. Vikings).
We see Wild Card odds on this game settling in a -3, possibly inching up to -3.5. We have already bet the Eagles at -3 and grabbed a generous bonus by signing up at
