ALDS Game 4: Tigers host Athletics

The Oakland Athletics can close out their best-of-five ALDS against the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday night as the two teams do battle in Game 4 of the playoff series at Comerica Park.

Oakland doubled up on Detroit in a 6-3 victory in Game 3 of the series on Monday, getting home runs from each of Brandon Moss, Seth Smith, and Josh Reddick in the contest. That put the A's up 2-1 in the set as they try to advance to the ALCS.

Detroit hands the ball to starter Doug Fister in this one and he'll try to improve on his 14-9 mark on the year. Oakland counters with Daniel Straily, who will try to quiet the fans and the Tigers bats at the same time.
