Movie killings mar Colorado game

Baseball bettors look for value at PETCO Park on Friday as host San Diego battles the Colorado Rockies in baseball odds action.

But the Rockies play with heavy hearts after the senseless killings overnight at a movie theatre, where the debut of the new Batman movie was showing.

Fourteen people were killed and dozens injured in the crime.

Jason Marquis gets the call for the San Diego Padres and he will try to build on a 4-9 mark. In the other dugout, Drew Pomeranz brings a 1-4 ledger to the game for the Rockies as he tries to quiet the Padres bats.
