ALDS Game 5 Odds: Tigers in Oakland

Justin Verlander will get the ball for the Detroit Tigers on Thursday night as they try to advance to the ALCS with a victory over the Oakland Athletics in Game 5 of their ALDS.

The Tigers forced Game 5 with an 8-6 win in Game 4 of the series on Tuesday night. Verlander had to settle for a no-decision back in Game 2 of this series despite holding the A's scoreless on four hits over seven innings of work.
