World Series Odds: Props on MVP, Series

Pablo Sandoval and Buster Posey are World Series MVP favorites as baseball fans start looking at odds for the Kansas City vs San Francisco World Series.

Sandoval is 8/1 and won this award in 2012 for the Giants, while catcher Posey is right behind him at 17/2.

The Royals opened as slight favorites to win the championship against the Giants on Friday morning, but early betting pushed San Francisco to slight favorites before the line settled in at even odds by late afternoon. Kansas City last won the World Series way back in 1985, but they are on a major roll winning eight straight playoff games and not tasting defeat yet this postseason.

“Despite the Giants battling the Dodgers all year for the NL West, they hung around in the mid teens in terms of Odds to Win the World Series and we took quite a bit of bets on them throughout the season,” said Kevin Bradley, Sportsbook Manager at Sportsbook.

“In fact, it's almost double compared to the Royals even though they were as high as 50/1 at one point. Even though this series is close with the Royals (opening) as slight favorites I expect to be taking quite a bit on the Giants game to game as we have seen throughout the playoffs.”

Both teams were Wild Card entries to the postseason.
