NASCAR Betting: September Schedule

There are four NASCAR betting events on the calendar for the month of September, with the 2013 Chase for the Sprint Cup finally getting underway in the GEICO 400 at Chicagoland Speedway on September 15.

AdvoCare 500 (September 1)

Denny Hamlin won the AdvoCare 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway last season, with Jeff Gordon, Brad Keselowski, Martin Truex Jr., Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Paul Menard, Matt Kenseth, and Mark Martin following him across the finish in that race. Gordon got the victory at Atlanta back in 2011.

Federated Auto Parts 400 (September 7)

Clint Bowyer was last year's winner of the Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond International Raceway, with Gordon, Martin, Tony Stewart, and Kenseth rounding out the top five drivers that day. Harvick earned the victory in the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond back in April over Bowyer and Joey Logano

GEICO 400 (September 15)

Brad Keselowski took the checkered flag at the GEICO 400 last season, with Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne, Kyle Busch, and Ryan Newman making up the rest of the top five drivers. Stewart, Logano, Earnhardt Jr., Martin Truex Jr., and Bowyer also turned in Top-10 results at Chicagoland last season.

Sylvania 300 (September 22)

Hamlin is the defending champion at the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, holding off Johnson, Gordon, Bowyer, and Kahne to visit Victory Lane at the event last season. Brian Vickers won the Camping World RV Sales 301 at New Hampshire back in July over Kyle Busch and Jeff Burton.

AAA 400 (September 29)

Last year's AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway was won by Keselowski, with Gordon, Martin, Johnson, and Carl Edwards following him across the finish line at that race. Tony Stewart won the FedEx 400 at Dover back in June, with Juan Montoya, Gordon, Busch, and Keselowski the Top 5 that day.
