NASCAR Betting: Sylvania 300
Kevin Harvick sits atop the oddsmakers' betting board to win the Sprint Cup championship as the series heads to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for this weekend's Sylvania 300.
Harvick, who sits in first place in the driver standings this week, is the 7/2 favorite at Bovada to claim the Sprint Cup when the Chase comes to an end in two months. Defending champion Jimmie Johnson is next at 4/1 odds, with Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart both sitting at 5/1 odds to win the series title this season.
Stewart is seven points behind Harvick in the driver standings after winning at Chicagoland on Monday, and three points up on third-place Carl Edwards after one Chase event. Edwards is at 11/2 on the Sprint Cup odds board at Bovada right now, with Jeff Gordon rounding out the top tier of title contenders at 7/1 odds.
Brad Keselowski (11/1), Kurt Busch (12/1), and Dale Earnhardt Jr. (14/1) are next on that list, with Matt Kenseth (20/1), Ryan Newman (25/1), and Denny Hamlin (40/1) sitting as the current longshots. Hamlin is 41 points behind Harvick in 12th place in the standings after faltering in a 31st-place finish at Chicagoland on Monday.
