NASCAR: Odds to win Food City 500

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series heads to Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend for the Food City 500 and Kyle Busch tops the oddsboard at +400 to win his second race in a row.

Online sportsbook Sportsbook has Busch as the betting favorite followed by Kevin Harvick at +500, Martin Truex Jr. at +650, Kyle Larson at +700, Brad Keselowski, Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin, Erik Jones and Joey Logano at +1200 and Ryan Blaney at +1500 to round out the top 10.

Busch can take a Huge lead in the standings with A win

Kyle Busch won his first race of the season last week at the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 and another win on his resume could set him up for his second Monster Energy NASCAR Cup championship.

However, at Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee, Busch has not been a lock, as he has finished near the bottom of the pack in the last two years in this race and hasn’t won on the Monster Energy circuit in Bristol since 2011. At +400, the price tag may not be worth the investment.

Can another driver get his first win of the season?

Jimmie Johnson was last year’s Sportsbook in this race and at +1600, it might be a wasted wager as a Sportsbook hasn’t repeated at Bristol Motor Speedway since Kurt Busch accomplished the feat in 2003 and 2004.

Denny Hamlin may be the best option to break through as he has three top-five finishes this season. Hamlin finished 10th in this race last season and has notched at least three first-place finishes per season over the last four years.
