NASCAR Odds: Food City 500

It could be a showdown between Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski on the NASCAR betting odds at the sportsbooks this weekend as the Sprint Cup Series offers up the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Keselowski won this event last season, but Busch is a three-time Food City 500 champion and is listed as the 6/1 favorite to win the race once again on Sunday afternoon at Bovada. Keselowski is just behind him on those Sprint Cup Series odds at 13/2.

Jimmie Johnson then sits at 15/2 on those NASCAR lines, with both Denny Hamlin and Matt Kenseth at 17/2. Kenseth finished second behind Keselowski at the Food City 500 last season, with Martin Truex Jr. ending up in third place. Truex Jr. sits at 25/1 odds at Bovada for this weekend's race.

Jeff Gordon, who was 35th at the Food City 500 last season and will be looking for a much better result on Sunday, is then at 10/1 odds for the race, followed by Tony Stewart at 11/1, Dale Earnhardt Jr. at 12/1, and both Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle at 14/1.

Kasey Kahne and Kevin Harvick sit at 15/1 at Bovada on the odds to win the Food City 500, with Clint Bowyer rounding out the top tier of contenders at 18/1 odds. Bowyer was fourth at this race last season just ahead of fifth-place Brian Vickers, who is at 30/1 odds for Sunday.

Kyle Busch is the defending and three-time champion of the Food City 500, so it’s no surprise that he is the favorite on the NASCAR odds at 5/1 at Bovada for a repeat performance at Bristol Motor Speedway for this Sunday’s race.

Jimmie Johnson has a pair of Top-5 finishes early in this Sprint Cup Series season, and he won at Bristol in 2010. Johnson is behind the leader at Bovada at 7/1 odds.

Tony Stewart won last week in Las Vegas and seems to have carried his momentum from last year’s Chase victory into this NASCAR season. Stewart is next at 8/1, while last year’s Sprint Cup Series runner-up Carl Edwards is at 9/1 odds to win at Bristol.

Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick, and Matt Kenseth round out a group clustered at 10/1 odds. Gordon has won five races at Bristol. Harvick currently sits second in the Sprint Cup Series standings, while Kenseth won a Gatorade Duel and then followed it up by claiming the Daytona 500; either one of those drivers is a solid pick at 10/1 odds.

Denny Hamlin captured the checkered flag at Phoenix a couple of races back and rolls in next at 14/1 along with Kasey Kahne. Brad Keselowski, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Greg Biffle are each listed at Bovada at 15/1 on the NASCAR betting lines.

In the next group of contenders Marcos Ambrose is set at 20/1 odds, while Martin Truex Jr. and Ryan Newman are at 25/1 odds on the Food City 500 betting lines. Clint Bowyer has found his way into the Top 10 once this season, and is sitting at 28/1 odds for this weekend.

Kurt Busch has dominated this event as well in the past, winning four times; he comes in at 30/1 odds and could be a great underdog on the NASCAR betting lines. Jamie McMurray is also at 30/1 odds for the race.
