NASCAR Odds: The Sprint Unlimited

The 2013 Daytona 500 is still a week away but auto racing bettors can get their first fix of the year on Saturday night as a field of 19 drivers competes in The Sprint Unlimited.

This event, which had previously been called the Bud Shootout, was won by Kyle Busch last season, by Kurt Busch in 2011, and by Kevin Harvick in 2009 and 2010.

On the NASCAR betting lines at Sportsbook, however, it's Dale Earnhardt Jr. who sits as the 15/2 favorite to win the exhibition race on Saturday night, with Kyle Busch next on the list at 9/1. Dale Jr. has won this event twice in the past - in 2003 and 2008.

Harvick then joins Tony Stewart at 10/1 on The Sprint Unlimited odds at Sportsbook, with Jimmie Johnson and Matt Kenseth both at 11/1, and each of Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin, Greg Biffle, Jeff Gordon, and Kasey Kahne at 12/1. Kurt Busch holds down 15/1 odds.

Only a select field (pole winners from last season and former winners of the event) is invited to participate in The Sprint Unlimited. The race is set to get underway just after 8:00pm ET on Saturday night, and it runs a distance of 187.5 miles (75 laps).
