Bulls feeling Heat in Game 2 betting
Chicago was a double-digit underdog in Game 1 of its series against the Miami Heat and pulled off the upset.
Did that change the minds of oddsmakers for Game 2, perhaps pushing the line lower?
Nope. Oddsmakers at Bovada opened the Heat as 12.5-point favorites, higher than the 11.5 points from Game 1 when the shorthanded Bulls upset Miami (for their first loss of the playoffs and ruining perfect postseason bets on Miami).
"The loss has not affected things at all really," said Kevin Bradley of Bovada sportsbook. "In fact, the Heat are bigger favorites, but we are seeing two thirds of the money on the Bulls tonight, which is the exact opposite of last game."

The loss did affect series betting odds, pushing them down considerably. 5Dimes had the Heat at -3000 two days ago, with the Bulls paying +1500 for a series upset.
As of today, that line was -970 for Miami and +630 on the Bulls, a significant dropoff.
The UNDER is now 6-2 in the past eight games where Chicago is a double-digit underdog. But a return from one of the injured Chicago stars (Luol Deng, Derrick Rose, Kirk Hinrich) could see much tighter NBA playoff point spreads.
"There is no doubt the return of Deng, Hinrich or Rose would drastically change these odds, but it would depend on other factors such as series score, home and away, etc, so it's not something we can predict right now," said Bradley.
