Pacers look for win over the Celtics

The Indiana Pacers already have a SU and ATS win over the Boston Celtics this season as those Eastern Conference teams hit the hardwood together in NBA odds action on Sunday.

Indiana knocked off Boston 97-82 as a 7.5-point road favorite on the NBA betting lines at the sportsbooks when the teams met back on November 22. The Pacers, though, are just 4-6 both SU and ATS in their last 10 games against the Celtics.

Sportsbooks such as Sportsbook had set the Pacers as -11.5-point Favorite on the Sportsbook line for this contest. The total was listed earler at 188, but may be on the move at Sportsbook and other top sites.

The Power Rankings at Odds Shark have the No. 13-rated Celtics taking on the No. 3-rated Pacers in this contest. Computer models indicate a possible 96-87 win for the Pacers on Sunday.



Last time out for Boston, they were a 106-99 loser as they battled the Wizards at home. The Celtics failed to cover in the match as a 1.5-point favorite, while 205 combined points moved the game OVER for totals bettors. Avery Bradley went off for 26 points and added 5 rebounds but it wasn't enough as Washington defeated Boston, 106-99 at TD Garden.

How They Match Up:
The game also pits Indiana's No. 20-ranked offense, averaging 98.19 PPG, against a Celtics defense that ranks No. 6 at 96.54 PPG. The Pacers field goal percentage has averaged 45.56% so far, more than the Celtics shooters have achieved on the year, 45.5% per game.
