NBA Betting: Back-to-Back LeBron
LeBron James and the Miami Heat will get back-to-back chances to pay off on the NBA betting lines on Wednesday and Thursday night this week as they continue their Western road trip with stops in Los Angeles and Denver.
The Heat will be at the Staples Center on Wednesday night for a date with Los Angeles' other team, the Clippers. Blake Griffin and company got the better of Miami at home when they last met last season, winning 95-89 despite being a 3-point home underdog on the NBA odds at Bovada.
Overall the Heat are just 4-6 SU and 5-5 ATS over their past 10 games against the Clippers dating back to early 2007, with the OVER/UNDER going 7-3 for totals bettors in those 10 contests.
On Thursday night the Heat will then pay a visit to Denver, with Miami riding a five-game ATS losing streak against the Nuggets into the contest. That includes a 119-116 Heat victory in Miami over the Nuggets as an 8.5-point favorite just two weeks ago.
Miami is 3-7 SU and 2-8 ATS over its past 10 games against Denver, with totals bettors watching the OVER/UNDER go 5-5 in those games.
Wednesday night's slate this week also includes Detroit at Philadelphia, Utah at Boston, Charlotte at Minnesota, Indiana at Milwaukee, New Orleans at Houston, Memphis at Oklahoma City, Washington at Dallas, Chicago at Phoenix, and Atlanta at Golden State.
On Thursday night it's then also New York at San Antonio and Boston at Brooklyn, with the Celtics going 8-2 SU and 6-4 ATS over their last 10 games against the Nets over the past couple of seasons. Seven of those 10 contests paid out for UNDER bettors on the NBA totals at Bovada.
Boston sits at 9/1 on the updated odds to win the NBA's Eastern Conference at Bovada, which has them behind the Heat (5/8), Bulls (7/1), and Knicks (8/1) on that NBA futures list. Brooklyn is at 18/1 odds along with the Indiana Pacers to claim the Eastern Conference title this season.
