The Los Angeles Clippers are 6-3 SU and 5-4 ATS over their last nine games against the Miami Heat, and will look to shake out of their recent slump Friday when they visit the defending NBA champions.

Los Angeles has been heralded for its depth this season, but that depth hasn’t been able to provide an answer for an injury to Chris Paul.

With their star point guard out, the Clippers are just 3-7 SU and ATS over their last 10 games after starting the season off 32-9 SU and 25-16 ATS.

Miami currently owns the best home record in basketball at 20-3 SU (12-11 ATS) and will look to add another win to that total Friday night against a team that has given them some trouble in recent years. The total has gone OVER in 10 of the last 13 games between the Heat and the Clippers.

Both the Clippers and Heat follow Friday’s game up with tough matchups Sunday as the Clippers visit the New York Knicks (31-16 SU, 26-21 ATS) and the Heat host the Los Angeles Lakers (23-27 SU, 20-30 ATS). The Lakers have struggled on the road all season long with an 8-17 SU and ATS road record.

College basketball betting

Over on the hardwood in college basketball Sunday, the Ohio State Buckeyes (17-5 SU, 12-8 ATS) host the Indiana Hoosiers (20-3 SU, 11-10 ATS). Indiana will look to bounce back from a road loss to Illinois on Thursday night versus a team it has struggled against in recent years.

The Hoosiers are just 1-7 SU and ATS in their last eight games against Ohio State and 0-4 SU and ATS in their last four road games against the Buckeyes.

NHL betting

Two of the East’s top teams will meet in a home-in-home series this weekend as the Pittsburgh Penguins (8-3-0) visit the New Jersey Devils (6-1-3) on Saturday and then the Devils visit the Penguins on Sunday.

Pittsburgh has held the upper hand over their Atlantic Division rival recently with a 6-3 SU record in their last nine meetings, including a 5-1 win in their one game so far this season.

The total has gone OVER in each of the last four games between these two teams.
