Which Raptors Team Will We See in Game 3?

The Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors rotated wins in the Sportsbook two games of their first-round playoff series, which makes the stakes for Thursday’s Game 3 that much higher. Milwaukee is perceived as a team with a bright future, but they haven’t won a playoff series since the 2000-01 campaign and will be in tough to buck that trend if the Raptors play the way they did in Game 2. Oddsmakers initially set the Raps as 1.5-point road underdogs with a total of 196.5.

Shark Bites
  • The total has gone UNDER in six of the Raptors' last eight games on the road.
  • The total has gone UNDER in five of the Bucks' last seven games.
  • The Raptors are 14-3 SU in their last 17 games against the Bucks.

After slumping majorly in the series opener, all-star point guard Kyle Lowry looked like his normal self again by scoring 22 points. Lowry and his backcourt mate DeMar DeRozan have suffered a lot of criticism over the years for their postseason play, but DeRozan is off to a strong start by averaging 25 points and 7.5 rebounds thus far. The Raptors shot 5-for-23 from downtown in Game 1 but went 14 of 19 from 3-point range in Game 2.

Despite collecting 24 points and 15 rebounds, Giannis Antetokounmpo shot 9-for-24 from the field on Tuesday. A major key to victory for the Raptors is slowing down the Greek Freak, but Toronto is quickly learning you can only contain him at this point. If he’s on and the Raptors resemble the team we saw in Game 1, Toronto could be in trouble in Wisconsin.

Playing at the BMO Harris Bradley Center has been easy for the Raptors of late, though. Toronto is 6-1 SU in its last seven trips to Milwaukee.
