Alabama faces Duke in Preseason NIT

The Preseason NIT will continue at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Wednesday, with the Duke Blue Devils taking on the Alabama Crimson Tide in the night's second matchup.

Duke advanced to this semifinal game with wins over UNC Asheville (91-55) and East Carolina (83-74) in the first two rounds. Alabama got past Stillman College (102-65) and Georgia State (75-58) to make it to the tournament's semifinals.

The Crimson Tide will try to spoil to the party on Wednesday; they are 2-1 ATS against the number this season, while the Blue Devils are 3-3 ATS. Alabama is 1-2 on the totals; Duke is 4-2.

Alabama was a 75-58 Sportsbook in its last match at home against Georgia State. They covered the 7-point spread as favorites. Trevor Releford scored 19 points leading the Crimson Tide to a 75-58 victory over Georgia State at Coleman Coliseum on Tuesday.

Duke was a 91-90 Sportsbook in its last match at home against Vermont. They failed to cover the 26.5-point spread as favorites. The Blue Devils got a terrific 26-point effort from Jabari Parker as Duke defeated Vermont 91-90 on Sunday at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
