The ACC/Big Ten Challenge rages on alongside a few other notable tournaments to wager on in NCAA basketball this week.

In ACC/Big Ten action, all eyes will be on No. 1 Duke vs No. 6 Michigan State at 9:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday. Bovada favors the defending champs by 11 points at home. Duke has been a dominant force so far this season, going 6-0 (4-1 against the spread) and outscoring opponents by an average margin of 91-63. Bovada has the over/under at 151.5.

Another pivotal Wednesday matchup in the ACC/Big Ten challenge pits Virginia Tech against No. 22 Purdue at 7:30 p.m. ET. Bovada has Virginia Tech favored by 2.5 points over the visiting Boilermakers with the over/under at 132 points. Purdue has to be happy with its 5-1 start but has to soldier on again without star forward Robbie Hummel (torn ACL).

The Indiana Hoosiers are looking like a throwback to their glory days this season; they’ve started 6-0. Still, every book, including Bovada, favors Boston College at home over them in ACC/Big Ten action on Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. ET. The spread is six points, and the total is 129. Bettors can also try their hand at N.C. State vs. Wisconsin, and Maryland vs. Penn State.

The 2010 Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series continues Thursday night with a few marquee matchups. Fourth-ranked Kansas hosts UCLA at 9:00 p.m. ET. The Jayhawks have rolled to a 6-0 start and are 3-1 against the spread. They’re shooting an amazing 57.8 per cent from the field as a team, best in the country; leading scorer Marcus Morris spikes that number with his 67.7 percent mark on the year.

No. 9 Missouri visits Oregon at 11:00 p.m. ET in a Big 12/Pac-10 matchup. The visiting Tigers finally beat their first spread of the season on November 24, covering the 9.5 points at Bovada and Sports Interaction with an 83-71 win over La Salle.

There are multiple MWC/MVC Challenge games on the schedule for Wednesday night. Among the teams to watch will be No. 21 BYU, which visits Creighton. Bovada has the Cougars favored by six points on Wednesday, but bettors beware; BYU is 6-0 but just 1-3 ATS so far this year.

No. 24 UNLV puts its 6-0 record on the line on the road against 5-1 Illinois State in another MWC/MVC game that should get plenty of action. Bovada favors UNLV by 9.5 points. Though UNLV has struggled to rebound offensively, that may simply be because there are no shots to rebound; everything is going in. The Runnin’ Rebels are shooting 55.1 percent on the season.
