The fun begins Monday night with a Big East clash between No. 2 Villanova and No. 6 West Virginia.
The Wildcats had an 11-game winning streak snapped over the weekend after losing to Georgetown 103-90 as a 2-point underdog. Corey Fisher and Scottie Reynolds each netted 24 points for Villanova, but it wasn’t enough to match the superior 56% shooting by the Hoyas.

College basketball odds – Big 12 showdown
In the Big 12 on Monday night current No. 1 Kansas takes on former No. 1 Texas. The Jayhawks got past Nebraska 75-64 on Saturday to extend their winning streak to eight games. Kansas was a 21-point favorite in the game and failed to cover the spread. They may be on an eight-game winning streak, but they’re 0-3 ATS in their last three contests.
The Longhorns has been going downhill ever since they were ranked No. 1. Ever since being anointed as the top team in the nation Texas has lost four of six. That includes an 80-71 loss to Oklahoma on Saturday as a 6.5-point favorite. Avery Bradley led the Longhorns with 21 points while Damion James was limited to 12 points and nine rebounds. Texas continued to struggle at the free throw line in the loss and that included James, who went 4-of-13 from the charity stripe. As a team the Longhorns shot 10-of-27 from the line, or a lousy 37%.
Kansas has owned this matchup for a few years, including last season when the Jayhawks got past the Longhorns 83-73 as an 8-point home favorite. The Jayhawks have won five of their last six versus the Longhorns while going 3-3 ATS.
NCAAB odds – Tuesday night Big Ten clash
Finishing off the Top 10 games on Tuesday night is a Big Ten matchup between No. 8 Purdue and no. 5 Michigan State.
The Boilermakers are on a five-game winning streak, but they’ve haven’t been getting it done for bettors with a 2-3 mark ATS. They last took to the court on Thursday when they edged Indiana 78-75 as a 12.5-point favorite. JaJuan Johnson and Robbie Hummel each netted 21 points for the Boilermakers in the win.
The Spartans have dropped two-straight with their leading scorer Kalin Lucas sidelined with an injured ankle. On Saturday Michigan State fell to Illinois 78-73 as a 1.5-point favorite. Draymond Green led Michigan State with 17 points and 16 rebounds, while Chris Allen deposited 15 points. Luckily for the Spartans there is a good chance Lucas could return on Tuesday night.
Last year the Spartans and Boilermakers split the season series with each winning and covering the spread at home. At home the Spartans have won 10 in a row versus the Boilermakers, while going 7-3 ATS.
