March Madness Futures Odds

Office pools and bracket picks are playing out everywhere as NCAAB betting will be off the charts over the course of the next three weeks with the Tournament going strong. Who will survive and grab a Final Four berth in Houston?

Early favorites at Sportsbook.ag to win the NCAA Tournament are the regular season No. 1-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes at +350, followed closely by last year’s winner Duke, which is listed at +450.

Many college hoops betting loyalists feel the Big East is so strong that it’s quite likely that one of the record 11 teams from the conference will be standing after the Big Dance is completed. Connecticut, Louisville (+3000), and Notre Dame (+2500) were ranked during most of the season, but surprisingly none were in the preseason.

21 different teams ranked No. 1 entering the NCAA Tournament have gone on to win the title, but take note that none have done so since the 2001 Duke Blue Devils. Ohio State rolled to the Big Ten title and finished 32-2 heading into the spectacle that is March Madness and they will get most of the attention in futures betting.

Connecticut came up with some big wins in their conference championship run with the play of All-American Kemba Walker, and he could help the Huskies be a solid darkhorse pick on the college hoops futures betting lines at +3500 at Sportsbook.ag. Jimmer Fredette will be the most highly-watched player as he tries to bring his BYU team a championship, but they will be heavy underdogs at +5000.

East Regional futures betting will once again have Ohio State as favorites at EVEN odds to clinch a Final Four spot. Syracuse had a strong season overall and went 12-6 in the deep Big East conference. Syracuse, Kentucky, and North Carolina all come in at +400 on the East Regional betting lines.

Kansas and San Diego State are the only other teams to reach the 32-win plateau besides top-ranked Ohio State. The Jayhawks will be at EVEN for futures betting on the Southwest Regional NCAA Tournament odds, and will be challenged by Notre Dame (+300) and its senior-laden squad. If JaJuan Johnson and E’Twaun Moore are up to the task, taking Purdue at +450 on the Southwest Regional futures odds betting lines could be a solid pick.

Pittsburgh finished atop the mighty Big East conference and they are the early favorites in the Southeast Regional futures betting lines at +140. The Panthers are a physical team and are a Final Four pick of many pundits of college basketball. Fredette could be up to the task, but the lack of depth only has the BYU Cougars at +700 to win the Southeast Regional bracket.

The question in the West Regional is if Duke’s dynamic duo of Nolan Smith and Kyle Singler has it in them to lead the Blue Devils back to the promised land. First Duke must claim the West Regional bracket, where they are the favorites at EVEN odds at Sportsbook.ag.

San Diego State comes in close at +300, and they aren’t getting much chatter for a run despite 32 wins and first place in the Mountain West. Walker’s Huskies are looking to keep the momentum going as they are +500 in futures betting for the West Regional.
