NCAA Tournament Futures Update
With top seed Pittsburgh gone the No. 2 seed Florida Gators are now the favorite to represent the Southeast Region in the Final Four.
The Gators have rolled through two rounds with a pair of wins and covers against Santa Barbara and UCLA. Those impressive victories, combined with Pittsburgh's early demise, has pushed them up to the top of the Southeast Region futures at +175, up from +300 where they started the tournament.

Standing in the way of the Gators' first visit to the Final Four since 2007 are Wisconsin (+700), BYU (+700), and Butler (+400). The underdog Cougars and Bulldogs may be worth the risk, too. Led by Jimmer Fredette the Cougars have posted back-to-back routs over Wofford and Gonzaga, while Butler has been here before after a shocking run to the tournament final a year ago.
In the other three regions the top seeds are all still alive, and they're also still favored to head to the Final Four. In the Southwest Kansas has gone from even-money favorites on the March Madness futures at Sportsbook.ag to their current spot at -250. The Morris brothers, Marcus and Markieff, have dominated in the Jayhawks' two wins so far and could easily lead Kansas to another Final Four berth if they keep it up.
The Southwest has been the upset region in the tournament with low seeds No. 10 Florida State, No. 11 VCU, and No. 12 Richmond all still alive. The only one the Sportsbook.ag oddsmakers are giving any chance to upset Kansas, though, is Florida State at +350. VCU and Richmond are both +1000 underdogs despite their run of upsets.
Over in the East the Ohio State Buckeyes have improved to -150 favorites to capture their region. The Buckeyes have destroyed their opponents so far in the tourney, routing Texas-San Antonio 75-46 and crushing George Mason 98-66. Obviously they covered the spread in both wins.
Ohio State has two top seeds left to deal with in the East in No. 2 North Carolina and No. 4 Kentucky, and one red-hot low seed in No. 11 Marquette. The Golden Eagles have already upset Xavier and Syracuse in the tournament and they'll need another big upset over the Tar Heels to keep advancing. Marquette's decent run could make them worth the risk at +1200.
Finishing off in the West region, where the defending-champion Duke Blue Devils are the ones to beat at -150. With Kyrie Irving back the Blue Devils are stronger than ever, but they aren't unbeatable as their close 73-71 win over Michigan showed over the weekend.
In the West the top three seeds are still alive with No. 2 San Diego State at +300 and No. 3 Connecticut at +350. However, the best value for bettors right now is No. 5 Arizona at +1000. The Wildcats may not draw the hype of the rest of the remaining teams in the West, but if they can get Derrick Williams to play up to his potential they could beat anyone.
NCAA Tournament region futures from Sportsbook.ag:
