NCAAB Odds: CIT Betting Preview

The CollegeInsider.com Tournament offers up a field of 32 teams once again this year, with CIT betting action getting going right away on Monday night as Brown plays host to Holy Cross in first-round action at the event.

On Tuesday it'll then be VMI at Canisius, Wright State at East Carolina, Norfolk State at Eastern Michigan, Chattanooga at ETSU, Columbia at Valparaiso, Alabama State at Sam Houston State, and Portland State at San Diego in CIT Tournament betting action at the books.

The first round then comes to an end on Wednesday with Quinnipiac at Yale, Towson at USC Upstate, Cleveland State at Ohio, Akron at IPFW, Murray State at Missouri State, North Dakota at Nebraska-Omaha, Texas A&M CC at Northern Colorado, and Pacific at Grand Canyon.

The second round of CIT betting matchups takes place on March 21 and 22, with the quarterfinals March 25-27, and the semifinals on April 1. The 2013 CIT Championship Game will then be held on April 3. Find CIT betting lines this month at Bovada.

There are 32 teams in the field for the CollegeInsider.com Tournament this year, with each of them looking to pay off on the CIT betting odds at the sportsbooks and add their names to the list of title winners at that event.

The first round of the CIT begins on Tuesday night with Eastern Kentucky at Gardner Webb, Savannah State at East Carolina, Rider at Hartford, Oakland at Youngstown State, Boston University at Loyola MD, and Tennessee State at Evansville.

Wednesday's first-round games are then Fairfield at Kent State, North Dakota at Northern Iowa, Elon at Canisius, Green Bay at Bradley, South Alabama at Tulane, Chicago State at Illinois-Chicago, Oral Roberts at UT Arlington, High Point at UC Irvine, Cal Poly at Weber State, and Air Force at Hawaii.

The second round of CIT betting matchups takes place on March 23 and 24, with the quarterfinals on March 26 and 27, and the semifinals on March 30 and 31. The 2013 CIT Championship Game will then be held on April 3.

Old Dominion (2009), Missouri State (2010), Santa Clara (2011), and Mercer (2012) are the past winners of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament.

Bettors have a fourth option for college hoops odds once again this March with the CollegeInsider.com Tournament tipping off on 16 campuses on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week.

Tuesday's first-round matchups have Robert Morris at Indiana State, Tennessee State at Mercer, Coastal Carolina at Old Dominion, Tennessee Tech at Georgia State, McNeese State at Toledo, and Utah Valley at Weber State.

On Wednesday the first round continues with Manhattan (-1) at Albany, Yale at Fairfield (-9), Bowling Green at Oakland (-4), Buffalo (-1.5) at American, North Dakota at Drake (-12), Rice (-2) at UL-Lafayette, UC Santa Barbara (-1) at Idaho, CSU Bakersfield at Utah State (-13), and Cal State Fullerton at Loyola Marymount (-6).

The first round finally concludes on Thursday with Kent State at USC Upstate. Second-round CIT games are then played on March 16-18, with the quarterfinals on March 20-21, the semifinals on March 23-24, and the championship game set for March 28.
