Topbet oddsmakers disrespect top seeds

Virginia and Wichita State may be top seeds, but they are not top betting choices to win March Madness according to one online sportsbook.

Florida is the top betting pick (+400) according to TopBet, but No. 2 seeds Michigan State and Kansas jump far ahead of No. 1 seeds Virginia and WSU.

The Spartans, with a pedigree of winning and covering in March, are second at +500, and Arizona, the top seed in the West Region, is at +700. Kansas, armed with freshman stars Joel Embiid and Andrew Wiggins, are at +700.

Even 4th-seeded Louisville, the defending champs who have been picking up steam, are ahead of those two top seeds at +900. WSU (the country's only uneaten team) is at +1200, and Virginia, upset winners in the ACC tournament, are at +1600.
