After winning in their first bowl appearance ever last season, the Florida International Golden Panthers hope to win their second straight bowl in this matchup against the Marshall Thundering Herd. Both teams enter the game in good recent form with the Golden Panthers finishing up the regular season 3-0 both SU and ATS and Marshall finishing 3-1 SU (2-2 ATS). Louisville is making its first bowl appearance since 2006, when the program took home the Orange Bowl. Under highly-regarded first-year head coach Charlie Strong the Cardinals have risen steadily, going to 12th from 65th in yards allowed per game.

NCAAF odds might favor Louisville in this bowl game because of their head-to-head win over Southern Miss last season.

The Cardinals have a solid history in college football and the NCAAF odds reflect this in the lines for the bowl game. Senior Justin Burke will get the start at quarterback, but Strong hasn’t ruled out using Adam Froman and Will Stein.
