Biggest College Football Bets - Week 10
This week in college football we are again trying to zero in on the matchups that can provide a big payday for anyone who enjoys wagering on the games.
To help get you ready for all of the action, the following is a preview of the biggest line moves, biggest underdogs, and biggest battles on this week’s college football betting slate. All lines are provided by 5Dimes.
Biggest College Football Line Moves - Week 10
Given how No. 15 Mississippi State’s weaknesses were exposed last week in a lopsided loss to No. 1 Alabama, it is easy to see why the Bulldogs are now 7-point underdogs at 5Dimes at home against No. 16 Texas A&M after the line opened at 2.5.
It looks like the betting public has finally lost faith in No. 23 Texas despite its 6-2 record. The Longhorns have failed to cover in their last four games and are now 7.5-point road underdogs against No. 18 Texas Tech after opening as 3.5-point dogs on the road.
The entire Big Ten has been extremely difficult to handicap this season as mediocrity has run rampant through the conference. Indiana opened as a 2.5-point home underdog for this Saturday’s contest against Iowa but the betting public quickly jumped all over the Hoosiers, who are now favored by a point and a half at home.
Biggest College Football Underdogs - Week 10
Fresno State is 6-1 and second only to No. 19 Boise State in the Mountain West, so it is easy to see why the Bulldogs have been opened as 34.5-point home favorites at 5Dimes against a Hawaii team that has one win all year and is 0-4 in conference play.
No. 25 Louisiana Tech continues to be one of the top mid-major schools in the country at 7-1 overall. This week the Bulldogs have been opened as 32-point home favorites against Texas-San Antonio, which has been taking its lumps lately in its first season in the Western Athletic Conference.
Colorado has been a regular on this list this season and this week is no exception. The 1-7 Buffaloes have been opened as 28-point home underdogs against No. 14 Stanford after failing to cover as 20 or more point underdogs in their last four games.
Biggest College Football Battles - Week 10
The biggest battle of the college football season is set for this Saturday night when No. 1 Alabama and No. 5 LSU clash in a rematch of last year’s BCS title game. The Crimson Tide have been opened as 9.5-point road favorites at 5Dimes against their SEC-West rivals. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m.
The other two big games on tap for Saturday night start off with No. 4 Oregon on the road against No. 17 USC in a Pac-12 matchup with the Ducks favored by eight points. The second game is a huge Big 12 tilt between No. 24 Oklahoma State and No. 2 Kansas State with the Wildcats favored by 9.5 points at home.
