11:38 a.m.: Wind will be a factor today in a lot of games in Big Ten country. Gusts up to 21 mph predicted in Ann Arbor, Mich., where the Wolverines are 21.5-point favorites over Air Force. The total has settled at 59. Last-minute line shop at 10 different online sportsbooks righ here.
11:15 a.m.: Backup QB Dylan Thompson will start for South Carolina in place of the injured Connor Shaw. The Gamecocks were favored by 21 points over East Carolina, before the news with a total of 51'.
11:05 a.m.: Lousiana Tech (-3, 59) at Houston: After losing in the seson opener to Texas State, Cougars coach Tony Levine parted ways with his offensive coordinator. Levine said this week their will be more focus on the running game, although Houston's up-tempo style will remain.
10:47 a.m.: Bovada bookmanager: "Smart money is on UCF, but 70 percent of publicl money on Ohio State."
10:40 a.m.: Illinois at Arizona State (-4, 48): Illinois QB Nathan Scheelhaase is extremely questionable with ankle injury, although he did participate in Friday's walk-thru. This game saw a lot of early line movement but has settled. It opened at a Pick at some offshore books.
10:31 a.m.: East Carolina at South Carolina (-21, 52') According to Josh Kendall of The (S.C.) State, South Carolina QB Conor Shaw is doubtful to start and questionalbe to play at all.
10 a.m.: Penn State's starting RB Bill Belto out today against Virginia. With No. 1 back Silas Redd having transfered to USC, the Nittany Lions are down to their third back.
9:50 a.m.: USC (-26, 64') vs. Syracuse: This total saw a three-point surge mid-week as a prominent handicapping service pounded on the OVER when the total was sitting at 62. Be careful, though: Rain and wind is expected.
9:45 a.m.: Central Florida @ Oho State (-18.5, 50.5), 12 p.m.: After a wet morning, rain is expected to have moved off to the East by the noon kickoff. But wind will be a factor and could gust to as high as 20 mph.
9:30 a.m.: The Penn State-Virginia line was one of biggest movers of the week, with the Cavs shooting up from -5 to -10. But some late Nittany Lions money has been trickling in, bringing the line back under the key number to 9.5 early Saturday morning.
Western Kentucky will be without starting running back Keshawn Simpson against Alabama.
9 a.m. ET: Michigan RB Fitzgerald Toussaint, as expected, will start today against Air Force.
