11:45 a.m.: Miami has suspended staring receiver Rashawn Scott and starting linebackers Eddie Johnson and Denzel Perryman, ESPN reported. Scott is the Hurricanes' second leading receiver. The Hurricanes opened as 2-point favorites at Virginia, but the Cavs are now small favorites.
11:25 a.m.: The other big decision at Bovada today is in the Pac-12, where Oregon is a monster favorite at California. The Ducks are now laying 29 points on the road in a conference game. That says as much about the Bears' status as it does Oregon. The Ducks have absolutely been demolishing bad teams suring their rise to prominence. Oregon is 24-8-2 ATS against teams with losing records.
11:15 a.m.: Arkansas @ South Carolina (-13.5, 52): Spurrier 1-5 ATS vs. Arkansas while at South Carolina.
11 a.m.: Guys at Bovada rooting are lopsided on the Northwestern-Michigan game. BetOnline actually opened the Wolverines as 13.5-point favorites, but the number has shrunk throughout the week and was down to Michigan -8.5 this morning. Still, a representitive from Bovada emphasized, "We need Northwestern +8.5"
10:55 a.m.: Texas A&M at Alabama (-14, 56): Crimson Tide have won 20 straight games when favored by 8 or more and are 14-6 against the spread in those games.
10:45 a.m.: Wisconsin -7, 55 @ Indiana: #Badgers are 5-1 ATS in last 6 meetings. Last 13 meetings with ATS and over/under results.
10:30 a.m.: Enjoy fading the public? If so, you'll want to be on home underdog Texas State today. Louisiana Tech is a 20.5-point favorite. More than 70 pecent of OddsShark community handicappers are on the Bulldogs.
10:15 a.m.: Oklahoma State will start Colton Chelf at quarterback against West Virginia, according to an ESPN report. Chelf began the season third on the depth chart behind Wes Lunt and JW Walsh. Lunt and Walsh have battled injuries throughout the season. Lunt is available, but Chelf is expected to start. The Cowboys are 10-point favorites over the visiting Mountaineers, who are coached by for OSU offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen. The total is sitting around 76.
10 a.m.: Keep an eye on the weather as winter storm Brutas barrells through the upper midwest, dipping down into the Rockies and into Utah to cause some less-than-ideal conditions. A wintery mix combined with gusty winds will be in play for the 7 p.m. kickoff between UNLV and Colorado State in Fort Collins, Colo. A winter weather advisory is in affect in Provo, Utah, where BYU hosts Idaho.
