College Football Week 4 Saturday Notes

Can the Florida State Seminoles still cover the spread against the Clemson Tigers on Saturday night with their star quarterback on the sidelines for the game? That's the top question confronting college football bettors heading into Saturday's slate this week.

Winston had been suspended for just the first half of the Seminoles' matchup with the Tigers earlier in the week, but late on Friday night it was announced that he would sit out the entire game for disciplinary reasons. Florida State sat as a 15-point favorite against Clemson as of Friday night; they're 0-2 ATS on the season.

Matchup Reports: Clemson vs. Florida State | Rutgers vs. Navy | NM vs. NM State

Elsewhere, Navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds (knee) has been upgraded to probable for his team's game against Rutgers on Saturday, and Northwestern quarterback Trevor Siemian (leg) has been upgraded to probable for his team's game against Western Illinois. Navy is a 6.5-point favorite vs. Rutgers, with no line yet for the Northwestern matchup.

New Mexico quarterback Cole Gautsche (hamstring) is still questionable for his team's game against rival New Mexico State on Saturday, while Utah State quarterback Chuckie Keaton (knee) is expected to miss his team's game against Arkansas State. New Mexico is a 3.5-point favorite vs. New Mexico State, and Utah State is a 1.5-point underdog vs. Arkansas State.
