Washington Looks to Extend Streak Over Colorado in Pac-12 Championship

Colorado and Washington will clash in the Pac-12 championship with the Buffaloes aiming to end a long drought against the Huskies. Washington is the fourth-ranked team in the country and this conference championship result is critical to its chances of qualifying for the NCAA College Football Playoffs.

SHARK BITES
  • Colorado is 0-6 SU and ATS in its last 6 games against Washington.
  • Washington is 7-1 SU in its last 8 games against teams with winning records.
  • Colorado is 11-2 ATS in its last 13 games.

The Buffaloes have been one of the best bets in the nation this year and will be laying seven points when they take on the Huskies on Friday at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco. Colorado has been the underdog in four of 12 games this season and has covered the spread every time. A cover in the Pac-12 championship, however, would be the Buffaloes’ first since they beat Washington 20 years ago in the Holiday Bowl.

Washington lost just one game this season, on the back of its high-flying offense, but has been tough to figure out at the betting window. The Huskies are a middling 6-6 ATS but have an 8-4 OVER/UNDER record – the caveat here being that they’ve now posted three straight UNDERs.

The Buffaloes’ 10-2 SU record this year marks the first time the school has posted a winning record since joining the Pac-12 and it’s the first time they’ve finished over .500 since 2005.

Jake Browning will be looking to continue his incredible season that has seen him throw 40 touchdown passes and just seven interceptions. The sophomore quarterback led his team to an average of 44.8 points per game, the third-highest in the country. Colorado is 0-1 this season when giving up more than 40 points and Washington has failed to eclipse 40 points just three times this season.
