Two of college football’s most exciting dual-threat quarterbacks will be on display in this year’s GoDaddy.com Bowl between the Arkansas State Red Wolves and the Northern Illinois Huskies.
En route to winning their first Sun Belt Title, the Arkansas Red Wolves had an outstanding season on both sides of the ball and went 10-2 both SU and ATS. After struggling on defense in years past, Arkansas State finished 15th in the country this year allowing just 19.3 points per game and went UNDER in eight of its 12 games.
Behind running quarterback Chandler Harnish, Northern Illinois won the Mid-American Conference with a 10-2 SU record and finished 13th in the nation in scoring with 38.3 points per game.
Junior quarterback Ryan Aplin was a star both passing and running for Arkansas State this season. Aplin finished the regular season with 3,235 passing yards and 18 passing touchdowns (with 13 interceptions) while rushing for 605 yards and nine touchdowns on 151 carries.

Miami-Ohio had the best turnaround season in the country and they have been rewarded with a berth in the GoDaddy.com Bowl against Middle Tennessee, with oddsmakers having the game listed as a pick’em.

Miami-Ohio rode out to a slow 4-4 start before reeling off five straight wins en route to a postseason bowl game. The RedHawks' record is superior to their foes, but betting analysts still see the game even in the GoDaddy.com bowl odds. This could prompt some serious college football betting action on the RedHawks.
The RedHawks also took out conference No. 1 Northern Illinois in the MAC championship game. That bodes well for their confidence heading into the contest against the .500 team out of Middle Tennessee.

Thomas Merriweather ran for over 111 yards with six touchdowns during the RedHawks' win streak, and he could be getting a lot of action against the weak run defense of the Blue Raiders.
Totals bettors will like the GoDaddy.com Bowl odds of an UNDER payout in this bowl game. Miami-Ohio and Middle Tennesse had 18 games out of a combined 23 reward UNDER bettors during the regular season.
Middle Tennessee did win its final three games in reaching its second consecutive bowl game. The Blue Raiders have veteran QB Dwight Dasher, who ran for a bowl record 201 yards with four touchdowns in leading his team to the New Orleans Bowl last year.
It’s this depth and experience that could see some college football betting lines leaning toward the Blue Raiders. The other component to a win for Middle Tennessee will be their ability to cut down the turnovers - they surrendered a nation-high 33 this season.
