MAC 2011 Odds Preview
The Miami-Ohio RedHawks came out of nowhere last year to win the MAC championship, and they look like they've got a chance to repeat this year.

However, a handful of other teams think they've got a chance too. Here's a look at the MAC and some Bovada futures:
Toledo Rockets (Odds to Win MAC at Bovada 13/4)
Toledo, 7-1 in conference play last year, returns 18 starters this year, including All-MAC RB Adonis Thomas, WR Eric Page, and nine on defense. And they get Northern Illinois and Western Michigan at home.
Northern Illinois Huskies (Odds to Win MAC at Bovada 7/2)
The Huskies, MAC runner-ups last year, only return 10 starters this year, just two on defense. They do get back All-MAC QB Chandler Harnish and the entire offensive line, but they also lost head coach Jerry Kill.
Temple Owls (Odds to Win MAC at Bovada 4/1)
Temple, 12-4 in the MAC over the last two years, returns 12 starters, seven on offense, for new head coach Steve Addazio.
Miami-Ohio RedHawks (Odds to Win MAC at Bovada 5/1)
Miami-Ohio gets back 17 starters from its conference championship team of last year, including four on the o-line and nine on defense. However, they've also got a new head coach and have to play at Toledo and Temple.
Ohio Bobcats (Odds to Win MAC at Bovada 5/1)
The Bobcats, 6-2 in the MAC last year, get seven starters back on offense, but only four on defense. They miss Toledo, though, and get Temple and Miami-Ohio at home.
Western Michigan Broncos (Odds to Win MAC at Bovada 8/1)
The Broncos, 5-3 in the MAC last year, return 15 starters, but they have to play at Northern Illinois, Toledo, and Miami-Ohio.
Central Michigan Chippewas (Odds to Win MAC at Bovada 16/1)
The Chippewas fell to 2-6 in the MAC last year, but get 14 starters back this year, including eight on offense.
Kent State Flashes (Odds to Win MAC at Bovada 25/1)
KSU and new head coach Darrell Hazell are looking to build upon back-to-back 4-4 MAC finishes.
Akron Zips (Odds to Win MAC at Bovada 30/1)
Akron returns 14 starters from the worst team in the MAC last year.
Bowling Green Falcons (Odds to Win MAC at Bovada 33/1)
The Falcons get seven starters back on both sides of the ball after going 1-7 in the MAC last year.
Ball State Cardinals (Odds to Win MAC at Bovada 35/1)
BSU returns 17 starters, 10 on offense, for new head coach Pete Lembo.
Buffalo Bulls (Odds to Win MAC at Bovada 35/1)
The Bulls get back eight starters on offense but only three on defense for their second season under head coach Jeff Quinn.
Eastern Michigan Eagles (Odds to Win MAC at Bovada 40/1)
Eastern Michigan has 13 returning starters as it tries to escape the MAC basement.
