NCAA Football Opening Odds Report
As many schools dive into conference play in Week 4 of the college football season, four matchups between ranked teams highlight an exciting college football betting slate.
The best passing attack in the country in No. 7 Oklahoma State is a 3.5-point underdog at Bovada at No. 8 Texas A&M this week. Recent matchups favor the Cowboys, as Oklahoma State is 3-0 SU in the last three meetings between these two teams and 3-0-1 ATS in their last four.
Plenty of offense is expected with the total set at 69 as the total has gone OVER in six of the last seven games between these Big 12 rivals.
No. 11 Florida State will look to bounce back from last week’s loss as a 2-point road favorite at Bovada at No. 21 Clemson this week. Clemson is 4-0 SU and ATS in their last four home games against Florida State, and 5-1 ATS in their last six meetings overall.
Moving into the SEC, No. 14 Arkansas visits No. 3 Alabama. Alabama is 18-1 SU in their last 19 games in Tuscaloosa, and are an 12-point home favorite at Bovada in this one. The Crimson Tide are 5-1 SU in their last six against Arkansas, but just 3-3 ATS.
The only non-conference meeting between two ranked teams is No. 2 LSU going on the road to No. 16 West Virginia. LSU is a 6-point road favorite at Bovada, and they beat the Mountaineers by exactly six in last season’s 20-14 victory at LSU. The total is set at 50.5; five of LSU’s last six road games and four of West Virginia’s last six home games have gone UNDER.
A few other conference matchups to keep an eye on are Missouri (+21.5) at No. 1 Oklahoma and No. 23 USC (+3.0) at Arizona State. Oklahoma will look to keep their National Championship bid on track, while USC and ASU will battle for early supremacy in the Pac-12 South.
