Gators vs Seminoles: Florida Odds Preview

The Florida State Seminoles, barring something unforeseen, are two victories away from playing in the BCS national championship game.

There may be a bit of controversy surrounding their quarterback, but as long as he's on the field FSU stands a great chance of playing in the upcoming national title game.

The first of those two hurdles comes Saturday when the 'Noles head over to Gainesville for their annual in-state battle with the Florida Gators.

Florida State is 11-0 SU and 9-2 ATS, and has won its last three games, albeit over some inferior competition, by a combined score of 198-20.

Florida, on the other hand, has collapsed in on itself, losing its last six games in a row. The Gators just hit their low point, losing at home to Georgia Southern (of FCS) over the weekend 26-20.

As of early this week this game had FSU as 28-point favorites at Sportsbook, despite the uncertainty of the situation surrounding Seminoles QB Jameis Winston. The total was 45 at Sportsbook.

Backers of the Gators have seen them go 4-7 and 3-7-1 ATS so far this season, while the Seminoles are at 11-0 and 9-2 ATS. In totals betting, the Seminoles are 10-1, while the Gators are 4-7.
