Terrapins now favored vs. Miami

Miami will play without eight suspended players and are still only 4.5 point underdogs as the Hurricanes travel to Maryland Monday to face the Terrapins.

The huge booster scandal claimed many Week 1 victims including Miami QB Jacory Harris and standout linebacker Sean Spence, swinging the Miami-Maryland point spread all the way from -5.5 for the Canes to -4.5 for the Terps.

It's a nationally televised ACC battle that is expected to draw a sellout crowd.

Of note, the home team has won both previous meetings since 2006 but the road team covered the spread each team. Miami has also struggled against the number, going 1-5 ATS in its past six matches overall.
