Broncos now Super Bowl co-favorites

Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos are now the favorites on the Super Bowl odds. The Broncos’ Super Bowl odds were trimmed to 9/2 at Sportsbook.ag on Monday, and they join the Houston Texans and the New England Patriots as the favorites.

The San Francisco 49ers are right behind that group at 5/1 on the Super Bowl futures, followed by the Green Bay Packers and the Atlanta Falcons at 6/1.

In February, before Manning was acquired and Tim Tebow was still the starter, Denver was at 70/1. Nine months later, the Broncos look like a legit contender with a quarterback playing at an MVP level.

Denver has won five straight games and owns a three-game lead in the AFC West. The Broncos have two games against the Kansas City Chiefs in addition to games against the Oakland Raiders and the Cleveland Browns left on their schedule.

Meanwhile, Tebow and the Jets are 200/1 longshots to win the Super Bowl.
