Cardinals at Titans betting preview

Tennessee settled its QB situation earlier this week. Arizona is still trying to figure out who its signal-caller is going to be.

John Skelton will start at quarterback for the Cardinals and is expected to play into the second quarter before being replaced by embattled Kevin Kolb in tonight’s preseason game at Tennessee. Neither has played well this preseason.
Jake Locker, who was awarded the Titans’ starting job, is expected to play into the third quarter with the first team. He'll be replaced by veteran Matt Hasselbeck.
The Line
The Titans opened as high as 4.5-point favorites, but had been bet down to -3 at most shops as of Thursday morning.
The Titans are 4-2 ATS in preseason games under coach Mike Munchak, 1-1 this preseason.
The Cardinals are 0-3 ATS this preseason and 7-16 ATS in the preseason under coach Ken Whisenhunt.

The Total
The total opened up at 42.5, but had grown to 45 as of Thursday morning.
Weather
Weather isn’t expected to be a factor with temperatures in the upper 70s with light winds and no threat of precipitation.
Notes
With Cardinals starting left tackle Levi Brown possibly out for the season, D.J. Young, who has never played in a regular-season game, will start.
The Titans rushed for 216 yards last week against Tampa Bay.
Arizona also will be missing starting linebacker Daryl Washington (death in family). Reggie Walker will start in Washington’s place.
Cardinals RB Beanie Wells will make his preseason debut, but isn’t expected to get more than 10 snaps.
