The Miami Dolphins just experienced a very strange Sunday; they got shut out in Buffalo, but with help from a Baltimore loss to New England took over the six spot in the AFC from the Ravens.

To secure that wild-card berth the Dolphins will first need a win at home over the New York Jets Sunday, then get some help from elsewhere.

Miami had won three games in a row SU and five in a row ATS before getting absolutely blanked by the Bills Sunday.

The Jets, meanwhile, have won two of their last three games, after beating Cleveland Sunday 24-13. But they are out of the playoff chase.

In the early betting the Dolphins, who have won the last two games in this series by a combined score of 53-12, were favored by six points for Sunday's game at Sportsbook.

The Dolphins sit at 8-7 (9-6 ATS) on the season; in comparison, the Jets are currently 7-8 (8-6-1 ATS). Looking to wager on the totals? Miami is 7-8 OU, and New York is 9-6 OU.
