Eagles vs Cowboys: Week 7 NFL Odds

The high-powered Dallas Cowboys travel to Philadelphia on Sunday to take on Chip Kelly’s Eagles in a battle of two NFC East leaders.

The Eagles opened as 1.5-point favorites, but several shops were keeping the game off the board early in the week to see how Philadelphia’s quarterback situation plays out. Backup Nick Foles started in place of the injured Mike Vick in a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

Foles played well and may get the starting nod from Kelly again this week. The Eagles are 4-1 ATS in their past five against NFC East rival Dallas.

The Cowboys were impressive in knocking off the Washington Redskins, but lost running back DeMarco Murray to a sprained knee during the game and had already been declared out for Week 7. Star defensive end DeMarcus Ware also was injured against the Redskins.

Dallas won both meetings last season in a pair of high-scoring affairs. The Eagles, however, have covered the spread in four of the last five meetings with Dallas.

They bring a 3-3 record (3-3 ATS) to the Week 7 battle against the 3-3 Cowboys, who are 5-1 ATS against the spread. Over under bettors have seen Philadelphia go 5-1 so far and the Cowboys go 3-3.
