Jonny Knows Picks: NFL Edition Week 11

I'm coming off a decent week in the NFL. I went 4-2 with my column picks & 5-0 with my Super Contest picks. I'm now 18-27-4 over the past eight weeks in the NFL.

Let's keep grinding. Here's who I like this week:

Baltimore at Dallas -7, 45

  • Ravens have No. 1 overall defense in the NFL and No. 1 rushing defense
  • Think they can grind this game down into a low-scoring contest, making this too many points
  • If Dallas has a letdown game this might be the one after the announcement, finally, that Dak Prescott will be the starter for the remainder of the season

Pick: Baltimore +7

Jacksonville at Detroit -6.5, 47

  • Lions have committed only six turnovers all season (but have also only generated seven turnovers).
  • Jags have a -14 turnover margin, worst in the NFL
  • Lions coming off a bye

Pick: Lions -6.5

Eagles at Seahawks -6.5, 43

  • Eagles have put up some respectable numbers against three of the hotter teams in the NFL last three games: Falcons, Giants, Cowboys (388 yards/gm)
  • Seahawks have given up at least 24 points in each of their last 3 games
  • Seattle’s run defense has taken a dip last three games – giving up 122 rushing yards per game
  • Balanced offense keeps this one close for the Eagles

Pick: Eagles +6.5

Tennessee at Colts -3, 53.5

  • Really tough game to cap. Hearing most of the money on the Colts but most of the bets on the Titans. Going to be a public vs. sharps game it looks like
  • Colts have covered nine of the last 10 meetings but the Titans are playing their best football in a long time
  • Titans are actually the best red zone team in terms of scoring touchdowns in the NFL
  • Marriota has 17 TDs passing, 2 rushing and just 3 INTs over his past six games.
  • Colts pass defense not getting much better. Still second worst in NFL and giving up 277 yds/gm over last three

Pick: Titans +3

Texans at Raiders -5.5, 46

  • Raiders coming off a bye and at home in the Monday Night spotlight in Mexico City
  • You’ve gotta be able to score points to keep up with the Raiders. Houston has 3rd-worst offense in the NFL, 4th worst scoring offense and has scored second-fewest touchdowns
  • Raiders have the best O-line in the NFL and I feel they've taken more prep for the high altitude

Pick: Raiders -5.5

Packers at Redskins -3, 50

  • Over 65 percent of bets coming in on the Packers
  • Redskins are 6-1 against the spread in their last seven games
  • Skins have won the yardage battle in their last five games
  • Packers defense might be one of the worst in the league right now. 37 points against per game over their last three.

Pick: Redskins -3
