Jonny Knows Picks: NFL Edition Week 15

It is freaking cold out there in the NFL this week, folks.

Hope my picks are warmer than the weather this week but you definitely want to check the forecasts before you make your wagers. Here are also '7 Things You Must Know About Betting Bad-Weather NFL Games'.

I sucked last week and went 1-5 and I'm now 30-41-4 on the season. Here goes:

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati, +3, 44

  • Light snow and below freezing. Pittsburgh is the best team in sub freezing temps over the past three years at 5-0-1 ATS and 3-0 SU, ATS in the snow.
  • Steelers put up 24 points in the first meeting without La'veon Bell and their offense is rolling now.
  • AJ Green is expected to play for Cincy and he's one of those rare impact receivers that's actually worth points to the spread so that's something to be aware of.

Pick: Steelers

Philadelphia at Baltimore -5.5, 41.5

  • Flacco says the Ravens need to rush more for the rest of the season. 28th in rush attempts this season and Flacco says teams have been playing 2 high safeties on them.
  • Underdogs cover at 56 percent in the rain over the past 3 seasons
  • Eagles have failed to cover four in a row and people are kind of dismissing them now so I think this line is a little inflated.

Pick: Eagles, UNDER

Green Bay at Chicago +5, 40.4

  • Could be the coldest game on record in Chicago at 6 degrees F.
  • Home teams cover at 55 percent and the UNDER cashes at 58 percent over the last 3 seasons in the NFL when it’s 32 degrees or colder
  • The Bears are one of the hottest bets in the NFL right now after covering their last four games against the spread.
  • Bears have really improved their secondary with 147 passing yds against p. This secondary was horrendous

Pick: Bears

Other picks I like:

Chiefs -6
Raiders-Chargers OVER 49
Redskins -6.5
