Jonny Knows Picks: NFL Edition Week 9

The NFL season rolls into November.  Underdogs are covering the spread at 53.6 percent (53-61-6) so far and the OVER has come through at 55.6 percent (65-52-3).

Here's a look at my picks this week. I went 4-2-2 last week and 2-2-1 with my Super Contest picks. I'm now 11-21-2 ATS over the last six weeks.

Jets at Dolphins -4, 44

-Miami is 2-0 straight up & ATS since their starting O-line is back intact
-Jets team is so bad in many areas. 4th lowest scoring team in NFL (18.8 pts)
-Have several injuries including starting center Nick Mangold.
-Miami also coming off a bye

Pick: Miami

Broncos at Raiders pick, 43.5

-Raiders No. 1 ranked offensive line in the NFL
-Denver’s whole game starts with the D-line and forcing things. Don’t see them having that success against this Raiders o-line
-Biggest weakness for Raiders is defending the pass but don’t love Broncos passing game with Siemian.
-Broncos rank 6th worst in the league in passing offense

Pick: Raiders

Lions at Vikings -6, 41.5

-This Vikings offensive line is a disaster. Two weeks ago it was the left side. Last week vs. the Bears it was the right side.
-Vikings have had so many injuries and with the offense unable to sustain drives, defense is getting tired. Lions getting too many points in  game they could win straight up.

Pick: Lions

Tennessee at San Diego -4.5, 47

-Teams line up pretty evenly statistically
-Titans 4th best red zone offense in the NFL, this team can score
-Chargers slightly better on offense, Titans slightly better on defense

Pick: Titans +5

Bills at Seahawks -7, 43.5

-Bills second worst passing game in the NFL but one of the top rushing games.
-Seahawks defense will make them one-dimensional
-Seattle only allows 89 rushing yards per game and 15.6 points
-Seahawks No. 1 red zone defense in the NFL, Bills No. 3 red zone defense
Pick: Seahawks, UNDER

Steelers at Baltimore -3

-Ravens have just two TDs in the two games under Mary Monhinweg
-Ravens rank 24th in total offense and injury to Steve Smith Jr. leaves them with wide receiver probs
Pick: Pittsburgh +3

Other picks:

Rams +3
Dallas -7
