Lions Favored to Have No.1 Pick in Draft

The Detroit Lions are firmly in last place in the NFL with an ugly 1-7 record through the first nine weeks of the season. The Lions schedule is also far from appealing, with two games against the Packers remaining, which has them currently listed as the +225 favorite to land the first overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft according to Bovada.

The only team within striking distance of the Lions is the perpetually subpar Cleveland Browns. In their remaining seven games on the season, the Browns have four divisional games and travel to Seattle.

There is not a #1 consensus player in the NFL draft this year, but most pundits seem to lean towards Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa. Whoever holds that #1 overall pick will likely take their pick of several above-average, but not franchise-altering talents.

Which team will be awarded the No.1 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft?
