Monday Night Football: Week 16 Preview

The Denver Broncos have managed to pick up the SU victory in 13 of their last 15 games against the Cincinnati Bengals, and they'll be looking for another win against them as road favorites on the NFL betting lines when the teams meet to close out Week 16 on Monday Night Football.

The Broncos are sitting as 3.5-point road favorites against the Bengals for Monday night's game at Paul Brown Stadium, with Peyton Manning and company on a four-game SU win streak that has them at 11-3 SU and 7-7 ATS on the season and in line for a first-round bye in the playoffs.

The Bengals, meanwhile, head into Monday Night Football at 9-4-1 SU and 7-6-1 ATS, which has them right in the middle of the battle for first place in the tight AFC North standings with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens. Cincinnati is also in the AFC's Wild Card picture.

Cincinnati is coming off a 30-0 road win over the Cleveland Browns in which they easily covered as 2-point underdogs on the NFL odds at the sportsbooks. That improved the Bengals to 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS over their last five games, with the UNDER 5-1 in their last six outings.

Denver topped the San Diego Chargers 22-10 last week as a 4.5-point road favorite, making them 4-0 SU but just 2-2 ATS in their last four games and allowing them to clinch the AFC West division title. The UNDER has paid off four times in Denver's last five games for totals bettors.

Kickoff for Monday Night Football at Paul Brown Stadium is set for 8:30pm ET, with Denver having gone 6-2 both SU and ATS in its last eight games as a road favorite. As well, the betting trends for Monday night point out that the Bengals are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games at home.
