Giants Gun for Rare Road Victory in Week 10 Date with Winless Niners

The New York Giants will have a golden opportunity to post consecutive SU wins on the road for the first time since December 2014 when they travel to San Francisco on Sunday to take on the winless 49ers in an NFL Week 10 matchup at Levi’s Stadium. New York has lost two straight at home since claiming a 23-10 win at Denver as 13.5-point chalk in Week 6, while the Niners look to end an 11-game SU slide on home turf.

Shark Bites
  • The total has gone UNDER in three of the Giants’ last four games on the road against the 49ers.
  • The 49ers are 0-6 SU in their last six games in the late afternoon.
  • The Giants are 2-7 SU in their last nine games on the road in November.

The 1-7 Giants have kept things close on the road, falling by three or fewer points in two of their three road losses, and own a 3-1 ATS road record this season. New York has been blown out in its past two outings, including last week’s crushing 51-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams as a 6-point home underdog, but is 9-3 SU and ATS in its last 12 road contests following consecutive home games.

The 0-9 49ers’ road woes continued with last week’s 20-10 loss to Arizona as 2.5-point underdogs. San Francisco has scored just 10 points in each of its past three outings, and has been held to 17 or fewer points seven times during its epic swoon on home turf, while surrendering 30.4 points per game.

Sunday’s game marks the Giants’ first visit to San Francisco since 2012. New York has taken six of eight SU from the 49ers, and has limited San Francisco to just 13.25 ppg during a 3-1 SU and ATS road run.
