NFL: 2016 Most Passing Yards Prop Odds

If there has been one constant in the NFL over the past five seasons, it’s that Drew Brees will be throwing the ball a lot. Brees has led the league in passing yards in four of the past five years – while finishing second the lone year he didn’t pace the NFL.

With that in mind, Brees is a +500 favorite to accomplish the feat once again in 2016 according to Bet365.

Close behind Brees – at +550 – is Ben Roethlisberger. Big Ben tied for the lead in passing yards in the 2014 season – with Brees – and managed to finish in the top 15 last year despite missing four games. Roethlisberger will have his receiving unit intact from last season – including Antonio Brown – but will also feature bolstered pass catching from tight end Ladarius Green.

An interesting name to watch would be Matt Ryan. Though the Atlanta Falcons were middling at best last season, Ryan still finished fifth in the NFL in passing yards. In fact, Ryan has finished in the top five in each of the past three seasons. The Falcons also shelled out massive dollars for Mohamed Sanu to hopefully find a competent receiver to play across from Julio Jones.
