NFL: 2016 Most Receiving Yards Props Odds

If you ask anybody who the best wide receiver in the NFL is today you are more than likely going to either hear Antonio Brown or Julio Jones. The two wideouts have more receiving yards over the past two seasons than any other player in the NFL.

Books are just as torn as to who is the best, with both Brown and Jones being listed as +350 co-faves to lead the league in receiving yards.

The past three seasons have seen Brown average 1677 receiving yards while helping the Pittsburgh Steelers to a top three passing attack in each of the past two years. The Steelers don’t really have a guy to go to after Brown – not to say there aren’t credible receivers in Pittsburgh, but no other receiver on the roster topped 800 yards last season.

Jones has been absolutely phenomenal over the past two seasons with the Falcons’ star averaging 111.5 yards per game. That is despite the fact that he has been the lone receiving threat on the roster. Atlanta brought in Mohamed Sanu – and paid him well – to be a consistent receiver across from Jones, so Julio may see some of his catches go toward the newest member of the receiving corps.

One guy to keep an eye out for early in the season will be DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins finished last season with 1521 yards through the air with a cavalcade of crappy quarterbacks throwing him the ball. With the Texans bringing in Brock Osweiler to throw the ball, Hopkins may have his first credible QB throwing him the ball in his young career.
