NFL Betting: Jags highlight upsets
The Jacksonville Jaguars knocked off the Tennessee Titans as 11.5-point road underdogs last week. It was the first win of the season for the Jaguars, and the largest upset of the season, spread-wise, so far.
The Indianapolis Colts previously owned the biggest upset of the season, as they beat the San Francisco 49ers as 10.5-point road dogs in Week 3. That result doesn't look so shocking months later. However, the Colts' loss last week is an absolute head-scratcher. The St. Louis Rams’ 38-8 rout of the Colts was one of the most surprising results of the season to this point.
The Rams were 7.5-point road dogs against a Colts team that owns wins over the Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks, and San Francisco 49ers.
The Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers were the only other two underdogs to pull off outright upsets in Week 10. The Panthers went into San Francisco and outlasted the 49ers. The Bucs picked up their first win of the season by knocking off the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night.
On the season, 46 underdogs have pulled off outright upsets through 10 weeks of the season.
