NFL Betting Odds: Week 15
The Jacksonville Jaguars are riding a six-game ATS winning streak and can practically lock up top spot in the AFC South this weekend with another upset of the Indianapolis Colts.
The Jaguars have quietly been one of the hottest teams in the NFL lately with a 5-1 record SU and a 6-0 ATS record in their last six games. Last week they defeated Oakland 38-31 as a 3.5-point favorite behind their No. 2 ranked run game.
Maurice Jones-Drew rushed for 101 yards, including a late 30-yard TD run to lock up the win, while Rashad Jennings had 109 yards and a TD on five carries.
The Colts snapped a three-game losing streak last week with a 30-28 win over Tennessee but they failed to cover the 3.5-point spread which was their third ATS loss in a row. Peyton Manning passed for 319 yards with two touchdowns, both to Pierre Garcon.
The Jags and Colts clashed in Jacksonville back in Week 4 when the Jags upset Indy 31-28 as a 7-point home underdog. David Garrard had a three-touchdown day for Jacksonville and Jones-Drew had a pair of touchdowns in the upset. Manning threw for 352 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. [ Matchup Stats ]
At home this weekend the Colts are a 5-point favorite at Bovada and they're 7-2 SU in their last nine at home versus Jacksonville, but only 3-6 ATS. The Colts have lost their last two games at home, both as the favorite, while the Jags are 4-1 ATS in their last five on the road.
While the Jags and Colts fight it out for the AFC South on Sunday the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants will clash with first place in the NFC East on the line.
The Eagles and Giants are both 9-4 on the season following wins last week. Philadelphia defeated Dallas 30-27 as a 5-point favorite, while the Giants slammed Minnesota 21-3 as 5-point chalk. Michael Vick had three touchdowns for the Eagles, while the running back tandem of Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs combined for 219 yards and two touchdowns for the Giants.
The Giants and Eagles squared off in Philly in Week 11 and Philadelphia came out on top 27-17 as a 3.5-point favorite. Vick had a TD run for Philly and LeSean McCoy rushed for 111 yards with a TD. Eli Manning struggled for the Giants with 147 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions. [ Matchup Report ]
New York is a 3-point home favorite at Sportsbook.ag this weekend despite the Week 11 loss and despite not having beaten the Eagles since 2008. Philadelphia has won five in a row against the Giants and they covered the spread in all five wins.

The game of the week in Week 15 was supposed to be Green Bay at New England in a potential Super Bowl preview. However, that game may have been spoiled by an injury to Packers QB Aaron Rodgers.
The Packers have been plagued by injuries on both sides of the ball all season long. Last week against the Lions Rodgers finally got bit by the injury bug and suffered a concussion that knocked him out of the game early.
Without Rodgers the Packers' offense was dead in a 7-3 loss to Detroit as a 7-point favorite. If Rodgers can't pass his concussion tests this weekend Matt Flynn will get the start and the Packers could be D.O.A. in New England.
A partial Packers squad doesn't appear to have a chance against New England right now, as the Patriots have won five in a row while going 4-1 ATS. Last week in the snow they beat up on the Bears 36-7 as a 3-point road favorite.
Don't expect odds on this game until Rodgers is officially declared either in or out. Green Bay will be the underdog no matter who's starting, and their 3-4 SU road record this season makes them look even more undesirable to bettors.
