Week 1 NFL Betting Trends and Notes

The Giants have been a profitable team in games against the Cowboys over the last five years, going 7-3 SU and 7-3 ATS over the past 10 meetings between the NFC East rivals. Last season Dallas didn't cover in either of their losses to New York.

The Browns are one of five home underdogs on the Sportsbook NFL betting lines for Week 1; the Chiefs, Titans, Cardinals, and Buccaneers are also getting points at home, while the Broncos and Raiders opened as home pick'ems.

The Texans are the biggest favorites on the Sportsbook Week 1 NFL betting lines at Sportsbook, as they're at -12 at home against the Dolphins. The Dolphins are 0-6 against the Texans franchise since 2003, covering the spread in just two of those six games.

The Bears are also big favorites for this weekend, giving 11 points to the visiting Colts and rookie quarterback Andrew Luck. Chicago and Indy haven't met since 2008, when the Bears won 29-13 on the road as a 10.5-point underdog.

The 49ers have lost eight straight games against the Packers dating back to 1999, going 1-6-1 ATS on the NFL betting lines at Sportsbook in those contests. The teams have played three straight OVER results.

The Bengals will be looking to break a three-game losing streak against the Ravens on Monday night, although they're 4-1-1 against the spread in their last six games against Baltimore. Both the Bengals and Ravens made the playoffs last season.

The Chargers had picked up five straight ATS losses against the Raiders until beating them 38-26 in Oakland as a 2.5-point underdog back in January. Overall San Diego is 7-3 SU and 5-5 ATS in the past 10 games between the rivals.
