The Patriots suffered an ugly collapse in their Week 6 loss to the Seahawks, but that didn't stop them from being opened as the biggest favorite at the sportsbooks for Week 7 of the season.
The initial line at 5Dimes had Tom Brady and company listed as 11.5-point home favorites over Mark Sanchez and the Jets for their game on Sunday afternoon, with both of those teams at 3-3 SU and 4-2 ATS on the season.
The Patriots were 2-0 both SU and ATS against the Jets last season, with the OVER paying out in each of those two matchups.
Seattle pulled out a 24-23 home win over New England on the weekend, moving them to 4-2 SU and ATS on the season. Still, the Seahawks opened as 8.5-point road underdogs for their Thursday night matchup in San Francisco.
Seattle was 0-2 SU and 1-1 ATS against San Francisco last year.
The Packers impressed in a 42-24 win in Houston on Sunday Night Football in Week 6, and they're the biggest road favorite on the opening Week 7 NFL lines at 5Dimes at +5.5 in St. Louis.
Other road favorites on the opening lines for Week 7 include New Orleans -2.5 at Tampa Bay, Dallas -1 at Carolina, and Pittsburgh -1 at Cincinnati.
